Hi Ernie,

As per our phone conversation on 7 March 2006, I thought I might drop a line and give a short testimonial on an experience with the sunglasses I purchased. They were raptor day night lenses.

Last summer as I was riding home from making a TV commercial on my 2000 Heritage springer I encountered a thunderstorm/tornado situation. I happened to be wearing the Raptors, CV7026, I had just purchased about a week before.

Anyway, about 13 miles from home the stuff hit the fan. I'm talking about heavy rain, trees blowing all around me, lightning etc; It was like being in "The Wizard of Oz". The only thing I could see at all was the white line on the side of the road by peeking around my windshield. Because of the slight amber color, it was clear as day....

I had on the Raptors I had purchased and was able to get home. I am certain that had I not had those glasses on, I wouldn't have been able to get home. From the way they hug your head to the day night lenses that are standard. I could see as good as I needed to to survive. By that I mean I live in a very rural area and to just stop on the side of the road and wait it out was not an option. Had I done so, I may not be writing this letter. They never even fogged up on me. I guess I can't say enough about the glasses, other than I promote the heck out of them when I tell people my story. They know it's true because that's just me. I have been riding for about 40 years and have tried numerous types and styles.

Also, I was wearing them when I shot the two commercials I did for Great Clips, which is a large hair salon chain.

Thanks So Much for the GREAT product. They were well worth the price....
