Each year, 7eye saves obsolete sunglasses that might otherwise get destroyed, and  donates  them to local guides, village elders, village children, and  others. These locals have zero eye protection, and live in high Himalayan altitudes where their eyesight is quickly damaged by the high UV levels present. These photos were taken in the far western regions of China, near the base of K2, the second highest peak on earth. The wife of our CEO is an intrepid climber, trekker, and photographer. She delivers these glasses personally, this year via her trusty camel Omar, to assure they get directly to the locals in need. Enjoy
